Download plugin Oceanwaves

This 3D Studio Max plugin adds a new geometry object which generates a statistically generated ocean wave suface. It allows you to set parameters like wind direction and strength, required detail, … to control the aperance of the sea surface.
This is basically the same “Tessendorf” method developed for my “H2Ocean” demo but adapted for non real time use. It is also the method used to generate the ocean surface in movies like “Titanic”.
See the included readme.html in the archive for details on how to use and install this plugin. The archive also contains a sample scene.

Now also supports Max 9 32 and 64 bit.

MAXScript Wave Generator

The first version will be used as test. For this reason, it will not be something spectacular. Just helpful.

But I start to read about the Fast Fourier Transformer, and would like to use for the coming versions.

Raytrace Map Remover

A simple script to remove the raytrace maps from the scene’s material library(diffuse and reflection map slots). This is for people using Mental ray as raytrace maps may (and will) slow down rendering times considerably.

To install my scripts, copy the script file to the 3dsmax/scripts/startup folder and inside max from the Customize menu open the Customize USer Interface dialog box. From the Category – select OneManSoft , select the script from the list and assign a keyboard shortcut.
