Free Download of Blocks: Cars, trucks and service cars to Lightwave 3D

It is never too gather a good amount of blocks in 3D models to add in scenes or animations. Time or another, whenever I meet some interesting feature or link containing a reasonable amount of 3D models, which can be used in various 3D tools, public here on Blog. For example, the blocks free for CAD that help many people. This week I found most of these web sites with free 3D models.
This time the repository of models, available free way of a series of 3D models of vehicles. The models are available in the format Lwo, which is native to Lightwave 3D. If your 3D suite supports this type of file, you can import the models without any problems.
In all the models are divided into 5 categories, each category containing approximately 12 models. So in total are approximately 60 3D models for free download.
Here is a list of categories:
* Vehicle Tour
* Cars sport and competition
* Military Vehicles
* Office vehicle and ambulances
* Trucks and carts
But not everything is good on the model. Before I must warn you download on two important aspects in relation to them.
Do not be fooled by the image of the preview of the page. The amount of detail in 3D models is very small. If you want to use the blocks 3D, for renders where the camera is close to the model, you need to make manual adjustments, to hide the defects.
* The models do not follow any kind of material as well. Note the image that illustrates this article, it shows how the models are displayed in Blender. To be able to customize the look of cars will require a bit of manual work too.
On the other hand, have few polygons and details can be a good thing too. In scenes that shows a lot of vehicles, it can save a few hours to surrender. Be sure to check this link, and then download and organize the material for use in their scenes.

I would definately choose hardware that already has drivers developed for it. This will save you time and money, and although there are more drivers getting made everyday, they are often not fully effective and glitched as I found out. The workarounds are a pain, so just pick stuff that will work out the box. Having said that however, there are some that are very easy like wifi drivers. It just depends on what your using.. You should definately research every part and see what people are saying online about problems with it.
